Church Growth Programme
WordSpread Foundation is a non-profit organisation who trains, equip, and mobilise Church leaders in Africa for personal evangelism and discipleship to the result of Church Growth. Growth, not only in numbers and members, but for the Body of Christ as Matthew 28:19-20 refers: all believers are commissioned to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
partnership and collaboration with ministries, organisations and/or coordinators across the African continent who is mandated and has the capacity to implement the sustainable Church Growth Programme strategy to grow the local Church in their country and the leadership thereof through our train-the-trainer model. Development needs for pastors and the community in remote areas are high and is WordSpread’s priority.
WordSpread Foundation has equipped more than 1000 Church leaders in the past year through our Church Growth Programme in several countries such as South-Africa, Malawi, Zambia, and plan to expand into Kenya, Uganda & Zimbabwe within the following year. More than 50,000 church members has been impacted with personal evangelism training and equipped to disciple by the leaders who were equipped to train and mobilize their congregation members with the resources and training received in the form of a Grow Your Church Kit at a Church Growth Conference hosted by WordSpread and supported by partners and donors.
WordSpread’s core focus for the next 12-months is to train and equip 2000 pastors with the Church Growth training model which will not only have an impact on them as Church leaders but also an impact to 100,000 Church members on the African continent being equipped in personal evangelism and basic discipleship.
